Sadena Thevarajah: 2010 Outstanding Law Graduate

Obituary: Victor T. Le Vine

Victor T. Le Vine, PhD, professor emeritus of political science in Arts & Sciences at Washington University and internationally known expert on terrorism, hostage situations, guerrilla warfare and political problems of the Middle East and Africa, died May 7, 2010, at his home in University City. Older adults with depression sought for treatment study

Researchers at the School of Medicine are studying people age 60 and older to determine whether augmenting medication for depression with a second drug might help older patients break free of clinical depression. Both study drugs are FDA-approved therapies for depression in younger adults, but the benefits need to be examined in older adults. FULL STORY
